Welcome to the Family Resource Center – MS 390
MS 390 Family Resource Center provides parents and students with the opportunity to obtain information and services to address their day to day challenges.
Our mission is to provide support to immidiate family members of students enrolled at our school in order to provide them with the skills to cope with social and environmental factors that impact or impede the academic and social emotional development of our students.
The Family Resource Center is located in room 224. The FRC provides information, advocacy and referrals, professional consultation, and crisis intervention to families in need of support.

securing needed services, school based or in the community.
- Individual
counseling: provided when
requested by student, teacher or the parent.
- Group Counseling: Offered to students based on need. Counseling groups may include academic support groups, anger management, study skills, self esteem, test taking skills, decision making skills, character development and others.
- Parent Involvement: The biggest investment. Children do better in school when parents are actively involved in their education. What can you do to support your child’s schooling?
